The 21 year-old blonde bombshell know as GoldieLocks is one of the latest British rappers to be taking the UK underground scene by the balls. Born Sarah Louise Akwisombe in Croydon, England GoldieLocks learned producing at a free community music college and started rapping as a joke. She takes her lyrical inspiration from life in the C.R.O. through a female lens - bad clubs, boys and her day job at Starbucks. Influenced by everyone from Kelis, The Streets,Ludacris, Girls Aloud, Dizzee Rascal, Amy Winehouse, The Neptunes and Spank Rock. The result is freshly modernist UK pop and a mix of urban and indie attitude. “I like people who can say things in a really straight way and be humorous with it” says GoldieLocks. “ I think if you put it in a way that people understand they enjoy it more. I vocal my tracks in the same way that I would speak to my friends.”
