Google’s Chrome Browser Challenges Microsoft’s IE8

Google is introducing a beta version of Chrome, its Web browser that it says can run the next generation of apps that are not possible with Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 and other browsers. Google’s Chrome offers crash protection and a more powerful JavaScript engine called V8. Chrome highlights the bitter rivalry between Google and Microsoft.
