Are You a Sell Out if You Were to Sell Your Blog?

More recently, I have seen a bunch of people talking about selling permanent ads on their blog or selling their site. My question is simply "would you sell your site?" and if you do, are you selling out?
The reason I bring this up is I see a lot of people selling their blogs for thousands of dollars, and if you have heard of Entrecard, supposedly it's worth is around $1 million dollars. So if the money was presented to you, would you sell your blog/site?
