How’s this for a weird conversation? The other day I took my dad to his doctor’s appointment. He was diagnosed and treated for prostate cancer last year, and he has a really fabulous doctor, Dr Michael Zachareas. Dr Mike was really great about connecting with all of us family members in the throes of dad’s cancer, and he is a very easy man to talk with. Somehow during our chat he mentioned how he was traveling to Florida to go to the 2008 American Urological Association Annual Meeting.
