Apple, Inc. has released a firmware update it hoped would fix iPhone 3.0 connection problems, but reports indicate the cure may be worse than the disease. Even iPhone users who had no problems are reporting woes with the update. Apple has said little other than the iPhone update fixes bugs, and an analyst said its image is getting tarnished.
