MySpace Moves into the Music Business

In April, MySpace confirmed that it had agreed to create a joint venture with Universal Music Group, Sony BMG Music Entertainment and Warner Music Group. The music companies agreed to take equity stakes in the new business at a ratio that approximately reflects their respective market shares. This means Universal will have the largest stake.
