Intel has quietly added three new multi-core processors for low-cost consumer desktops, following price cuts at rival Advanced Micro Devices. Intelâ€™s new quad-core Q8200 costs $224 but lacks enterprise features. Intelâ€™s new Core 2 Duo is priced at $84 and its Celeron D processor costs $55 with a 512KB cache.
